These are two movies shot on February 3rd at Eufaula High School on the marching band's practice field. Jacob got a model rocket for Christmas. We fired the rocket eight times, three with an A8-3 motor and five with a B6-4 motor. The B series motors are twice as powerful as the A series, resulting in much higher flights. These movies are of a launch with a B motor.

Jacob watched as I set up the first two launches, and performed the next six completely on his own. The only mistake was on the next-to-last launch, in which he did not install the wadding correctly. This resulted in one of the parachute lines burning in two and a little damage to the parachute itself. Other than that, Jake did a terrific job! He was fully aware of all safety precautions and performed all launches in a manner that was enjoyed by all, especially Emily, who kept insisting that we "Do 'gin!!!"

Great job, Jacob! We' definitely gotta do this again!!!
